Juice | Advertising Work
Print is still one of the most powerful ways for your
business to get its message out. Particularly, with smaller
budgets or smaller markets, you will find that print (as opposed to radio
or television) remains the most economical way to reach your customers.
Company: MindVision Software
Project: Promotional brochure
Concept: Light rays from behind the logo form an "X" to serve
as a visual tie to Installer VISE's new compatibility with Macintosh's
OS X. Careful use of 2-color printing gives this brochure the richness
of a full-color job, but at a fraction of the cost.
Company: Day-Runners
Project: Print advertisement
Concept: The Day-Runners mascot is a cheetah, but in reality, cheetahs probably wouldn't make the best couriers. A series of print ads plays off of this with humorous headlines and text. The text of this ad reads:
"Granted, our runners may not be as fast as cheetahs, but that's only because we force them to obey the speed limit and we restrict them to receptionist-free diets. Still, they do a good job of delivering and picking up your materials on time.
And time is what it's all about. There's only so much of it and if you're a typical business owner, you need more of it than you have. That's where we come in. We can run your specialty errands so you don't have to."
Company: Day-Runners
Project: Print advertisement
Concept: Ad number 2 of the Day-Runners campaign. The text of this ad reads:
"That's why we choose to use human runners. And we specifically train them to handle a variety of intense situations, from correctly reading street addresses, to navigating their way around traffic jams - and yes, even riding in elevators without getting spooked.
You're a busy person and sometimes you're better off doing what you do best - taking care of your business. That's where we come in, doing what we do best - running."
Company: Day-Runners
Project: Promotional postcard
Concept: In order to promote the benefits of their business-to-business courier services, these postcards were hand delivered, rather than mailed. The text on the back of the card reinforces the benefits of using a courier to get critical materials hand delivered quickly and safely.
Company: Hoffmann Lighting and Electrical
Project: Rebranding advertisement
Concept: This was part of a series of ads to help promote the rebranding of this business. The copy was purposefully kept simple in order to maintain focus on the company name and logo.

Hairstylists
Project: Tri-fold mailer intended to attract new customers.
Concept: The flowing brown lines are meant to represent stylized
hair. The front flap of the tri-fold reads: "If looks aren't everything,
then why does a bad haircut cause so much stress?" The text inside speaks
of the experience of the hairstylists and their commitment to create
lasting relationships with all of their customers. It also offers a coupon
to first-time customers. Printing was done in just two colors, making
this a very economical job.
